Amy R. Wong

Amy R. Wong is a scholar, literary critic, and associate professor of English at Dominican University of California. Her research and writing has focused on Victorian literature, the British empire, postcolonial theory, anticolonial theory, and decolonial criticism, as well as contemporary Asian and Asian Anglophone literatures and film (especially Chinese neorealist film), realism and Marxist theory, and psychoanalytic approaches to intergenerational trauma in Asian diasporic families and communities. She holds a B.A. in History and Literature from Harvard College and a Ph.D. in English from the University of California, Los Angeles.

She is also a psychoanalytic psychotherapist in training at the Wright Institute in Berkeley, California.
